Mango Habanero Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 1 large mango (fresh or 1 cup frozen, peeled and chopped)
  • 2 habanero peppers (seeded for less heat)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced or crushed)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add chopped mango, habanero peppers, honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice, and salt. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until mango is soft and mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Blend the mixture until smooth using a blender or immersion blender.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more honey or lime juice if needed.
  5. Store in a jar or bottle once cooled.
