This Lemon Basil Hummus is a refreshing twist on the classic dip, with the bright flavors of lemon and basil adding a zesty kick. Perfect for snacking or as a flavorful spread!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Rinse and drain your chickpeas. Prepare the ingredients as listed.
  2. Add all ingredients to the blender. Put chickpeas and wet ingredients closest to the blade, and basil on top.
  3. Blend on low. Start blending and add water gradually until the desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Serve and enjoy! Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with your favorite dippers.
