- ¼ cup finely chopped Italian parsley
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons very finely diced red onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
- Olive oil for pan
- 4 burger buns
- Tzatziki sauce
- Crumbled feta cheese
- Tomato slices
- Cucumber slices
- Onion slices
- Lettuce
- Make the tzatziki sauce: Follow the recipe link instructions to prepare the sauce. It can be made in advance and set aside.
- Prepare the turkey mixture: Combine ground turkey, parsley, dill, oregano, red onions, garlic, feta, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently with hands until evenly combined.
- Form the burger patties: Divide mixture into 4 parts and shape into patties with an indentation. Make them slightly larger than buns to account for shrinkage.
- Cook the patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side without pressing down.
- Assemble the burgers: Place lettuce on the bottom bun, add the turkey patty, tzatziki, feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, more tzatziki, and top bun. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Do not overmix the turkey mixture for juicy burgers.
- Make an indentation in the patties to prevent shrinkage.
- Avoid pressing down on the burgers while cooking to retain moisture.
