Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 inch x 1 inch cube melt and pour soap base
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground coffee grounds

Instructions

  1. Heat the Soap Base: Place the 1-inch soap base cube into a microwave-safe measuring cup and microwave on high for about 15 seconds until melted but not boiling.
  2. Add Ingredients and Stir: Immediately stir in the granulated sugar, olive oil, and ground coffee grounds thoroughly. If the mixture is starting to harden, microwave for an additional 5-10 seconds and stir well to combine completely.
  3. Pour into Mold: Pour the mixture into the soap mold cavities. This amount fills about two cavities in a 2-inch square soap mold.
  4. Let Set: Allow the soap mixture to set and harden for approximately 2 hours at room temperature.
  5. Cut into Cubes: Once solid, remove the soap from the mold and cut each molded soap piece into quarters to create smaller scrub cubes.

Notes

  • The sugar acts as a gentle exfoliant, while the coffee grounds help invigorate the skin.
  • Use a microwave-safe container to safely melt the soap base.
  • Melt and pour soap base can be found at most craft stores or online.
  • Store scrub cubes in a dry place to preserve their texture and prevent melting.
  • Perform a patch test if you have sensitive skin before using on large areas.
