Ingredients

Submarine rolls:

4 submarine rolls

Garlic butter:

1/2 cup melted butter, 3 cloves minced garlic, 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Pulled pork & ham:

1 cup pulled pork, 1 cup sliced ham

Swiss cheese:

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Pickles:

1/2 cup chopped pickles

Yellow mustard:

2 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rolls: Preheat oven to low broil. Slice rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through, place cut side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter: Stir together melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Brush the cut sides of the rolls generously with the mixture.
  3. Toast the Rolls: Broil the rolls for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden and crispy. Keep a close eye on them.
  4. Make the Filling: On a cutting board, chop pulled pork, sliced ham, pickles, and Swiss cheese until finely diced. Stir in yellow mustard.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Scoop the filling into warm rolls, press slightly, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use bakery-style rolls for best texture.
  • Broiling adds a toasty crunch.
  • Finely chop the filling for easier eating.
