  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough for thicker rolls

Cinnamon Sugar:

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Additional:

  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • Optional: icing or glaze store-bought or homemade

  2. Prep Dough: Unroll the dough into a flat rectangle. Brush lightly with melted butter.

  3. Add Filling: Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the buttered dough.
  4. Roll & Slice: Cut the dough into strips, roll each strip tightly, and slice into small rolls if needed.
  5. Skewer: Thread each roll onto a skewer, spacing them slightly apart.
  6. Cook Over Fire: Roast over glowing embers (not direct flame), rotating frequently, for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve: Carefully remove from skewer, drizzle with icing if desired, and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • You can customize these roll-ups by adding chopped nuts or raisins to the filling.
